Off-the-shelf canapé display stops at a handful of standard trays. Prop Options builds the piece your menu actually needs, around the cone, spoon, glass or tartlet your chef has chosen.
Canapé Cone Holders
Trays and beds that hold filled cones upright and evenly spaced, built around your cone diameter rather than a generic hole size, in clear acrylic, white, timber or a soft upright bed.
Spoon and Shot Glass Trays
Recessed trays that stop amuse spoons and shot glasses sliding on a moving tray, cut to the exact footprint of your glassware.
Reception Risers and Plinths
Matched sets of risers, plinths and pedestals that give a long reception table height and rhythm, in timber, acrylic, metal or reeded finishes.

Who makes bespoke canapé display stands in the UK?
Prop Options is a UK manufacturer in Poole, Dorset that designs and builds bespoke canapé cone holders, spoon and shot glass trays, reception risers and drinks displays for hotels, caterers and event companies. Everything is made in our own workshop.
Can you make a tray that holds canapé cones upright?
Yes. We build cone holders around your actual cone diameter and fill weight, so filled cones sit upright and evenly spaced rather than leaning. The holder can be a drilled tray, a recessed bed or a soft upright bed depending on the look you want.
What material is used for canapé display that touches food?
Prop Options uses food-safe acrylic, sealed timber, metal and food-safe finishes on every surface that touches food, and names the material and finish on the quote so your compliance team can check it before you order.
Can you match a canapé stand to a photo or a competitor's product?
Send us the photo. We will tell you honestly what we can make, what we would change to make it work in service, and what it will cost. We design our own version rather than copying a protected design.
Is there a minimum order for canapé display?
No. Prop Options makes single pieces and full production runs. Caterers usually start with one tray for a tasting and then order a run once the menu is signed off.
How long does it take?
Most projects take 2 to 3 weeks from sign-off, depending on the nature of the job and how busy the workshop is at the time. Tell us your date when you enquire and we will confirm the lead time in writing with your quote.
Do you work with event caterers as well as hotels?
Yes. We supply hotels, event caterers, venues and brand activation agencies, and are happy to sign an NDA before a menu or a client is announced.
