What is the PropUtility Dinosaur Kit from Cakes By Carol?
The PropUtility Dinosaur Kit is the internal structure for Carol's dinosaur cake. A dinosaur has a long body, a heavy head and very little to hold it up, so the frame matters more than it would on a standard cake. This kit gives you the base, rods, fixings and printed insert to build it properly.
It is made from components in the Prop Options Utility System, so anything you do not use can go back into your next build.

Is this kit for tiered cakes?
No. It is designed for building a dinosaur-shaped cake, not traditional stacked tiers.
Is it safe to use with real cakes?
Yes, the internal components are designed for use with real cake. Wash them before first use. The MDF board should be covered in a food-safe wrap.
Does the kit include everything needed?
The kit includes the base board, rods, printed insert, fixings and the spanners you need to assemble it. Cake, ganache and covering are not included.
Can I reuse it?
Yes. Take the structure apart, wash the parts and keep them for your next build. The printed insert is hand wash only.
Are the components compatible with the Utility System?
Yes, the kit uses components from the wider Prop Options Utility System.

Care Instructions
When caring for and cleaning your products, please use warm soapy water and wipe clean only. Abrasive cloths and detergents should not be used. This item is not suitable for the dishwasher and should not be submerged in water.
Although the highest amount of care has been taken to ensure each product is food-safe and ready for you to use, please wash before first use.

Delivery methods
We have a growing catalogue of ready to send products running parallel to our handmade bespoke service. All products ready to send are despatched next working day via your chosen delivery method.
Made to order and handmade products are indicated by the blue tag at the top of the product information - generally, these are ready to despatch within 3-5 days and they will be sent via your chosen delivery service once made. For rush orders or special requirements, please contact us.
UK Delivery
Within the UK, deliveries will usually take place between 8am and 6pm and all our delivery methods our fully tracked. We offer free UK standard delivery (3-4 days) on orders over £75*. For orders under £75, a £3.95 P&P charge will be applied at checkout. UK orders over £150 benefit from free express delivery (1-2 days).
International Delivery
We ship globally with the majority of orders being despatched via our expedited service with Royal Mail or DHL Express. Orders to the US and Canada can arrive in as little as 2-3 business days, while other international locations take on average 3-5 business days. Please note, delivery times vary depending on your address and are for guidance only.
Returns Policy
We offer the right to return within 14 days of purchase.
You must contact us within 14 days and we must receive your return within 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Please note - return orders may be subject to a £2.00 restock and admin fee. This will be deducted from your refund.
