What is the PropUtility Bust Kit?
The Bust Kit is the internal frame for a sculpted head and shoulders cake. A central threaded rod rises from a 12" square base, and Ben's bespoke chin plate and 3D chin shape give you a fixed point to build the face from, so the jaw and neck hold their position while you carve and model.
It is built from components in the Prop Options Utility System, so every part is strong, reusable and compatible with the rest of the range.

About the Collaboration
Ben Cullen, known as The Bake King, is a cake artist famous for hyperrealistic cakes that look like anything but cake. He appeared in Channel 4's Extreme Cake Makers and is the author of Cake or Fake? From horror characters to lifelike portraits, his sculpted busts are some of the most talked-about in the industry.

FAQs
Is this kit for tiered cakes?
No. It is designed for a single sculpted bust: a head, neck and shoulders built around one central rod.
Is it safe to use with real cake?
Yes. All internal components are designed for use with real cake. Wash everything before first use.
Does the kit include everything I need for the structure?
Yes. You get the base, rod, chin plate, chin shape, four flat nuts and two spanners. Cake, ganache and modelling materials are not included.
Can I reuse it?
Yes. Unscrew the rod, wash the parts by hand and keep them for the next order. The printed parts are hand wash only and not dishwasher safe.
Can I buy extra parts separately?
Yes. Rods, nuts, washers, bases and boards are all available individually in the PropUtility range, so you can add height or replace a part without buying a new kit.

Important Information
Make sure the central rod is fully seated and tightened in the base before you build the cake, and build on a level surface. Follow your usual food-contact hygiene practice for the internal rod, and transport with care. Following all assembly and usage guidance keeps your cake secure.

Care Instructions
When caring for and cleaning your products, please use warm soapy water and wipe clean only. Abrasive cloths and detergents should not be used. This item is not suitable for the dishwasher and should not be submerged in water.
Although the highest amount of care has been taken to ensure each product is food-safe and ready for you to use, please wash before first use.

Delivery methods
We have a growing catalogue of ready to send products running parallel to our handmade bespoke service. All products ready to send are despatched next working day via your chosen delivery method.
Made to order and handmade products are indicated by the blue tag at the top of the product information - generally, these are ready to despatch within 3-5 days and they will be sent via your chosen delivery service once made. For rush orders or special requirements, please contact us.
UK Delivery
Within the UK, deliveries will usually take place between 8am and 6pm and all our delivery methods our fully tracked. We offer free UK standard delivery (3-4 days) on orders over £75*. For orders under £75, a £3.95 P&P charge will be applied at checkout. UK orders over £150 benefit from free express delivery (1-2 days).
International Delivery
We ship globally with the majority of orders being despatched via our expedited service with Royal Mail or DHL Express. Orders to the US and Canada can arrive in as little as 2-3 business days, while other international locations take on average 3-5 business days. Please note, delivery times vary depending on your address and are for guidance only.
Returns Policy
We offer the right to return within 14 days of purchase.
You must contact us within 14 days and we must receive your return within 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Please note - return orders may be subject to a £2.00 restock and admin fee. This will be deducted from your refund.
