Our Story

We’re Brad and Emily, the founders of Prop Options. What started as a small project from our dining room table has grown into an award-winning international brand, providing high-quality cake stands and separators to customers worldwide. It all began after our daughter Mila’s first birthday, when a photographer mentioned the challenge of finding strong, reliable cake stands for children's photography. With Brad’s skills as a carpenter, we crafted our first pedestal cake stand and began offering it online.

In those early days, our evenings were filled with designing new stands, answering customer inquiries, and preparing orders for shipping—all while balancing family life. Soon, our range grew beyond photography props to serve talented bakers and cake designers in the wedding and events industry. Our products quickly gained attention, and before we knew it, we were shipping stands around the world, each one providing a perfect base for stunning creations.

As demand increased, we decided to move from our home to a dedicated space on the South Coast of England, giving us the room to expand while continuing to focus on quality and customer service. This allowed us to grow our team and continue innovating, while ensuring that each customer received the same level of care and attention that set us apart from the beginning.

With the freedom to focus full-time on Prop Options, we poured our energy into creating even more innovative products. Our signature metallic gold cake separators, acrylic designs, and popular PropSecure Floating Side Bar quickly became customer favourites. Alongside these, our Floral Crown and Floral Tiara designs helped solidify our reputation and put Prop Options on the map as global trendsetters in wedding centrepieces.
